2:00 p.m. Earthworks Team Blue Leap Day Hike

You’re invited to join FBC Earthworks Team Blue for a Leap Day hike at KU Field Station on Saturday, February 29 (Leap Day)!
Meet at FBC at 2:00 p.m. to carpool north of Lawrence for this walk and hike at the KU Field Station. We’ll begin at the Rockefeller Native Prairie parking lot and take the paved trail to the overlook of the beautiful Kansas River valley. We’ll return the same way. Round trip distance: 0.8 miles.
After returning to our cars, those who would like to hike will continue across the road to the Quarry Trail and follow that down to the Fitch Biology Loop, and return on the Quarry Trail. Round trip distance: 1.6 miles.
Bring water.
