6:00 p.m. Earthworks Team Purple Book Study

The Last Thursday Book Study is one facet of Earthworks Team Purple—”The Scholars”—where we use a book to facilitate discussion about our role and responsibility to caring for God’s Creation. We will meet virtually on Zoom the last Thursday of each month until further notice. Contact the church office for the Zoom link. Even if you haven’t read the book, join us for open, amicable discussion!

February 27: Sin against creation: repentance and the church’s role—a discussion on Tony Campolo’s How to Rescue the Earth Without Worshiping Nature (some copies provided by FBC)
MONDAY April 13: Book study in conjunction with the regular FBC Book Club (which meets on Mondays) on Wendell Berry’s The Art of Loading Brush
April 30: A roadmap for response—a discussion on Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone’s Active Hope
