Green Wildlife Area Hike

Join us for an Earthworks Team Blue Local Adventure on Friday, May 14!
Enjoy a short hike of 0.5-1.5 miles on the natural surface trails at the Green Wildlife Area near Willard, KS.
You can look for wildflowers, listen to birds, and enjoy the view from a park bench or your lawn chair.
No hiking necessary! The park also contains some local history.
Then we’ll drive south to Echo Cliff Park near Dover, KS for a bring-your-own picnic lunch. Bring your lawn chair.
If you would like to carpool (if vaccinated) or caravan, meet at First Baptist Church at 9:00 am on Friday, May 14. We will plan to be back in Lawrence by 2:00 pm.
