In addition to creating a diversified farm producing human food, Windstone also hosts a section of native prairie containing 100+ prairie species, some of which are very rare. Windstone is off grid for electricity, depending on a solar array and batteries for all its power. It’s advised to wear good walking shoes and a hat, bug spray and sunscreen.
