NO 2-way Sermon Discussion Group

There will be no 2-way Sermon Discussion Group today because of the fellowship lunch and quarterly business meeting. See you next week!

What’s the 2-way Sermon Discussion Group? Just that—an opportunity to discuss the past Sunday’s sermon with Pastor Matt. Pastor Matt provides his sermon manuscript for all to peruse as we talk about the parts that are most salient and meaningful for each of us. The last fifteen minutes is spent reading and discussing the scripture for the next Sunday’s sermon. Often, he uses Lectio Divina reading and questioning methods to facilitate this discussion. Open to all adults.

The 2-way Discussion Group meets in person in the Sojourners Room and virtually on Zoom on Sundays following worship at 12:30 p.m. The meeting time is occasionally rescheduled or cancelled to accommodate other after-church events such as fellowship meals and quarterly business meetings.
