Kids’ Sunday Mornings @ FBC

Nursery Care
Our nursery is available for adults and their young children if they need a space to play, change a diaper, use the toddler bathroom, etc. Currently, there is no nursery staff, so adults must stay with their children while they are using the nursery. Please let Pastor Cristina know if the nursery is missing any supplies that you need.
Children’s Sunday School

9:30-10:30am
Preschool: Kids ages 3 until they begin kindergarten gather every week for a play based curriculum to learn about and explore Bible stories through music, play, and stories. Curriculum: Frolic.

Kindergarten-2nd grade: The K, 1, & 2 class meets weekly to hear a Bible story and do related fun activities. Curriculum: Smyth & Helwys Faith Steps.
3rd–5th Grade: Our 3rd–5th grade class meets every Sunday with a Bible story, discussion, & craft. This class offers a virtual option; just ask for details. Curriculum: Smyth & Helwys Faith Steps.
Explorations
10:30-10:50am
Following Sunday School, kids are brought to the Children’s Church room for a time to explore and learn about different ways they can be the church and serve others through music and projects. A snack and water will also be served.
Children’s Church
During 11am service
During the 11:00am service, children will be dismissed for Children’s Church about halfway through the service. At children’s church, kids will have a lesson based off of the main sermon, but at a level that is geared just for them, followed by a time of work and play. It is up to parents and kids as to when they stop going to children’s church (towards upper elementary school, many kids start to prefer to stay in the service instead of coming to children’s church). At the end of the service, parents will come and pick up their kids from the Children’s Church room. [Note: on the first Sunday of the month, there will be no Children’s Church]
