Adult Sunday School Classes
You are welcome to join in on any of the following Sunday morning FBC adult Sunday School classes, also known as Life Groups. All classes are age-permeable—anyone of any age can attend.
Serendipity (Room 145A, in-person only)
This is a class that provides thoughtful leadership for a directed discussion of the Bible. The format is scripture reading, questions, and group discussion of answers. All are welcomed. This class is led by Danny Trent with others assisting.
D.N.A. (Room 149, in-person and on Zoom)
In this class, the members share the fun and challenges of seeking to understand God’s word on a variety of issues concerning everyday Christian life. Everyone is welcome! Topics/book studies are usually chosen by group consensus. Discussions are facilitated by John Pauls, with others assisting. We discuss, share, support, occasionally comiserate, and laugh together!
Sojourners (Room 151, in-person and on Zoom)
Would you like to study contemporary subjects from historical, social, and theological perspectives? Then the Sojourners seminar format is right for you. Views from a broad array of backgrounds are shared each week to reach a depth of understanding. Lively discussion is the norm in this group and all viewpoints are welcomed. This group is co-facilitated by Lynne Beatty, Nancy Bonner, Craig Weinaug, and Marylee Southard, with teaching shared among the group.
