Earthworks Team Blue Loess Bluffs Road Trip
November 21 @ 8:00 am – 4:00 pm CST
Journey with Team Blue up to the Loess Bluff National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, 11/21 to hike and drive the scenic auto tour while looking for waterfowl! This all day adventure will leave from FBC at 8:00 a.m. and return at 4:00 p.m. Bring your lunch, water, and binoculars. We can carpool and caravan from Lawrence to the refuge. For this, it would be helpful to know how many are planning to go and who is willing to drive if needed. So, advance sign up through the church office is requested by 11/18.
Bonus note: During this event, copies of the book for the 12/13 Team Purple Book Study will be available to borrow. The book is The Last Wild Places of Kansas: Journeys into Hidden Landscapes by George Frazier. Find more details on the study here.
