The Two-Way Sermon Discussion is just that—an opportunity to discuss the past Sunday’s sermon with Pastor Matt. Pastor Matt provides his sermon manuscript for all to peruse as we talk about the parts that are most salient and meaningful for each of us. The last fifteen minutes is spent reading and discussing the scripture for the next Sunday’s sermon. Often, he uses Lectio Divina reading and questioning methods to facilitate this discussion. Open to all adults.
The group meets both virtually on Zoom and in person in the Sojourners room following worship at 12:30 p.m. on most Sundays. On 3rd Sundays when a fellowship lunch is scheduled after church or on Quarterly Business Gathering Sundays, we may cancel the Two-Way or meet at a later time instead.
