Earthworks Team Green E-waste Collection – Home Pickups

If you’ve signed up for an electronics recycling collection, they’ll swing by your house sometime within this time frame.

Do you have dead or unwanted electronics taking up space? Let Team Green haul them to the City of Lawrence e-waste recycling event for you!

We have so much stuff that has plugged into an outlet or run on batteries, that we have been collecting on faith that someday, it would be recycled. The city has just announced the date, and it is right around the corner.

Lawrence people love getting rid of their dead electronics, but most pay for it in a wasted Saturday morning. The line to drop off e-waste is very long. At FBC, the Green Team will load up the church truck and get in that recycling line for you on May 13, so you don’t have to. Just bring your stuff to the church garage over there across the parking lot, or contact us for a pickup at your house if you cannot get it to church.

Here’s our plan for when we will do it:

• FBC garage collection – Saturday, May 6, 1-3 pm (no signup needed, just come drop off your items)
• “Last chance” pick-up from your home – Monday morning, May 8 (sign up HERE, or email office@firstbaptistlawrence.com)

There will be brochures showing what “stuff” is accepted out in the Narthex at church. But we don’t have much time to prepare.
