CALLING ALL BOOK LOVERS
Our January selection is A Common Struggle by Patrick Kennedy and Stephen Fried . This book describes Patrick Kennedy’s struggle with mental illness and addiction. The meeting will be on Monday, January 11 at 7:00 pm at Lee and Carolyn Carlsons’s home. Copies of the book are available at Amazon, Lawrence Public Library, and Johnson County Library.
We will not be meeting in December because of Christmas events and travel plans.
The First Baptist Book club reads a wide variety of works including fiction, non-fiction, biographies, memoirs, and poetry. Members suggest the books to be read. If you love books, please join us!
