An American Baptist Congregation
The April selection is Slave by Mende Nazer. This book is an autobiography about a woman who, at the age of 12, was seized from her village in Sudan and sold into slavery. It is a revealing book about the continuing problem of human trafficking in our present age. The meeting will be held on April 14 in the church library.
The First Baptist Book club reads a wide variety of works including fiction, non-fiction, biographies, memoirs, and poetry. Members suggest the books to be read. If you love books, please join us!
