For Children and Youth Volunteers, Parents, and anyone interested in learning about self-compassion!

When? Sunday, March 1st 9:30-10:30am

Where? Judson Room

Self-compassion is far more than “speaking nicer to ourselves.“ It is a way of being that invites us to lean into the imago Dei, the image of God within each person. When adults practice self compassion, they not only experience greater freedom and gentleness in their own lives, but they also model a healthier way of living for kids who look to them for guidance.

Come and explore how self compassion can help us more fully live the way of Jesus for our own wellbeing and for the flourishing of the next generation.

About the Presenter:

Rachel Abraham is passionate about the intersection of mental health and faith. She is a licensed professional counselor in South Dakota and serves as the middle school ministry director at her church. In both roles, she creates space for honest conversation about emotional wellness, spiritual formation, and the transformative practice of self compassion.
