NE Area Summer Softball Rumble IN TOPEKA

FBC Lawrence will have a team playing in a Softball Rumble in Topeka with other NE Area Baptist churches! If Softball is your “spiritual gift” (or even if it isn’t…if you can stand there and try to hit a ball or kind of not flinch when one comes at you…) come and play on the team with us! It should be fun! Talk to Danny Trent or Steve Yoder (or contact the church office) if you’d like to play! More details:

* The first game begins at 4 pm. The second game starts at 5:30 pm.

* Games are limited to a one-hour time limit.

* They’ll have game softballs and umpires for the event.

* All games are held at Felker Park on fields #1 and #2. Felker Park is located at: 2540 SW Gage, Topeka, KS 66614

* If you have an elementary student who wants to play, you can pair them with an adult. Just use caution and discretion with this.

* New Hope and Love Community Church will be doing hot dogs and sides for the event.

* Bring lots of water. It sounds like it is going to warm up this week.

* Bleacher seats are limited. Encourage those cheering on our team to bring their own chairs if they can.
