Spiritual Formation Neurodiversity Workshop

October 27 @ 9:30 am 10:30 am CDT

Children and Youth volunteers will be gathering to learn about neurodiversity and how to support our students with neurodiversities but all are welcome to join us!

What is neurodiversity? It’s a term used to express differences in how people’s brains work and how people experience the world. A few examples of neurodiversity are people with ADHD, Autism, sensory difficulties, anxiety disorders, or learning disabilities.

Dr. Nanette Fritschmann, Ph.D., who works in KU’s Center for Research on Learning will be leading the workshop.
