A long-standing tradition in First Baptist’s youth ministry is our mentorship program. Youth who sign up are paired with an adult from the church. Once a month (typically the 1st Sunday), mentors and mentees gather for a Mentor Meal. Then, they do activities to build relationships between the youth and their mentor and discuss topics that youth have input on. Some topics we have talked about are money and budgets, play and Sabbath, and career planning. Other favorite Mentor Meals are our Christmas Party and Easter Egg hunt.
