Please join us for the annual Home Run 5K run/walk on Memorial Day, May 25th in support of Family Promise Lawrence! You can participate on the day of the event, or virtually on your own time. We also need volunteers! You can even volunteer the day of the race then do your run/walk beforehand!
Join the FBC Heart and Soles team to save $5 on your registration (and help FBC win the competition for the group with the most signups!) Walk or run on your own or join some of your FBC friends to make it a group thing.
I’m in! How Do I Sign Up?
Click the “Sign Me Up” button below to go to the race page on runsignup.com, click the “Sign Up” button for in-person or virtual, then when it asks if you’d like to join a team registration at the bottom of the registration page, click “Yes” and select FBC Heart and Soles team. (Note: there are a couple of opportunities to donate, one right after you click “next” on the registration page, and another at the end. It’s wonderful if you want to donate additional money on top of the registration fee, but this is optional.)
If You’d Like to Volunteer…
If you’d rather have a root canal than move your body 3.1 miles, you can still help. We need folks to cheer on participants (and make sure intersections are clear), hand out water, retrieve timing chips, and more. Click the volunteer button below or just contact Wendy Wheeler at FBC via the church office if you’d like to volunteer.
