Since the spring of 2023, we’ve made an effort to care for the bees, butterflies, and other insects that help pollinate our flowers and crops, while creating biodiversity for an overall stronger ecosystem! That means healthier birds, lizards, and even humans. God has placed all these creatures on earth and has called humanity to care for them and all creation. Many of these insects have been decimated by the effects of pollution and pesticides, and planting native and pollinator-friendly plants helps restore them to health.

FBC’s Wonder Pollinator Garden is an official Monarch Waystation!

In 2024, Monarch Watch designated FBC’s Wonder Pollinator Garden as an official Monarch Waystation! But we can’t care for our pollinator friends without your help!

Below are the dates that we will be having Wonder Garden work days, for weeding, digging, planting, mulching, etc. (whatever is needed at the given time!) Click the button below to sign up for the dates that you can help:

September 13 at 7:00p: Wonder Garden work evening. It’s time for fall planting!

sign up for a garden work day!
see who’s visiting the garden now!

Thanks to Lynne Beatty, our official “garden guru” who keeps us organized. Let’s join in our call to care for all of God’s creation!
