Wendy is an amazing help to not just FBC and the community of Lawrence. She coordinates the mobile food pantry, brick and mortar pantry, Family promise and FBC’s involvement with LINK—not to mention the several other housekeeping tasks that go unnoticed. She works with these clients in a way that makes them feel human—to be seen and loved—and never embarrassed. She knows her calling and truly embodies the phrase; “being the hands and feet of Jesus.”
